Aurora Bautista was a well-loved Spanish actress who mixed with Picasso, Miro and Dali through the 40s, 50s and 60s as well as being reluctantly drawn into the shadowy world of Franco’s dictatorship. To celebrate a life well lived, her family commissioned a 200pp book of photographs that depicted her public life on stage and screen, alongside family photos and mementos of her private life. This limited print-run book was produced digitally and benefited from the attention to small details – from the clear foil blocking on the dust-jacket to the understated design of the slip case in which the book is presented.
